Karthik was born and raised in Hyderabad. He enjoys spending his weekends with family and friends going out to restaurants, and eating his favorite dish- Hyderabadi biryani. He catches up on the latest Telugu movies and the news in his spare time. Every year Kathik and his family get together to celebrate Ganesh Puja, a ten-day Indian festival celebrating the arrival of Ganesha to earth from Kailash Parvat with his mother goddess Parvati. The festival is marked by hosting of clay Ganesha idols in homes as well in public pandals. Karthik and his family place their Ganesha idol in their home and offer prayers. A few days later, an immersion process of the idol or visarjan is performed, followed by a grand celebration with family and friends.

Karthik finds himself inspired by Swami Vivekananda, a 19th- century Hindu monk who was a key figure in bringing the concepts of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. Karthik enjoys watching motivational videos and learning new skills, as well as volunteering towards social causes such as donating food and supplies to orphanages. A time that stands out to Karthik was when he travelled to China in 2015 as part of the Indian Youth Delegation. He had the privilege to be one of 200 members chosen from across India, and of 4 chosen from the state of Telangana. The Youth Delegation is a cultural exchange program conducted by the Indian government’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The key purpose of this program is to raise inter-cultural awareness, seek avenues of increased cooperation between India and the host country, as well gain key insights that can be applied towards improving the welfare of the general public and economy. During his stay, Karthik visited the cities of Beijing, Xian, Guangzhou, and took a trip to the Great Wall Of China. This experience was an eye-opener for Karthik, giving him the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with young people from different parts of India and China.

Karthik was placed at Tvarana towards the end of his degree at MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. His research indicated Tvarana’s extensive work in the ERP space, which of great interest to him and prompted his decision to take up the offer. He speaks of his time at Tvarana as a life-changing experience. He has grown tremendously over the last three years- not just in his professional life, but personally as well. With the support and guidance of Tvarana founder and President Kishore Bojja, and manager Uday Chand V, Karthik has learned new skills and has grown in confidence. He is financially independent and self-reliant, and attributes his success to his time spent at Tvarana.
