YRGCARE expanded nationwide, and its teams struggled to manage financials, reporting, and operations manually. Growing patient numbers and additional programs for HIV and other infectious diseases made their old systems insufficient. To strengthen efficiency and maintain donor and regulatory transparency, YRGCARE began searching for a unified platform that simplified operations and cut administrative load.
By partnering with the Oracle NetSuite Social Impact program, YRGCARE transformed its operational backbone, enabling the team to focus more on clinical care and less on administrative complexity. Here’s a closer look at how NetSuite supported YRGCARE’s mission to save more lives.
YRGCARE, founded in 1993 in Chennai by the late Dr. Suniti Solomon, is one of India’s leading HIV/AIDS service organizations. Over the decades, it has built a wide-ranging portfolio of services that includes adolescent and adult sexuality education, HIV interventions in workplaces and communities, voluntary counselling and testing services, treatment for sexually transmitted infections, and long-term care and support for more than 20,000 people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA).
The organization also conducts extensive research in epidemiology, laboratory sciences, prevention, implementation science, and drug resistance. Today, YRGCARE stands as a key institution in Asia for HIV research and care, recognized for its strong community outreach and deep clinical expertise.
As the organization grew from 3 centers to 15 across India, YRGCARE faced increasingly complex operational demands. Their existing processes made it difficult to:
Chief Program Officer Ganesh Aylur Kailasam, who has been with the organization since its early years, recognized that the operational complexity was limiting their ability to reach more patients. YRGCARE needed a single, integrated system to manage operations, streamline processes, and ensure every resource was directed toward impact.
To support their scale and mission, YRGCARE partnered with the Oracle NetSuite Social Impact program. Under this program, nonprofit organizations are supported with donated software and Suit pro bono expertise.
With NetSuite, YRGCARE was able to:
Through the Suite Pro Bono program, skilled NetSuite employees supported YRGCARE at no cost to set up and optimize the platform so the organization could operate more efficiently.
With NetSuite in place, YRGCARE experienced significant improvements across operations, transparency, and patient support.
NetSuite enabled YRGCARE to scale responsibly while staying true to its mission: delivering compassionate, life-saving care to the communities that need it most
